October 1, 2008.  UPDATE - I won a 4th Place award ($ 200 cash award) at the Escalante Canyons Plein Air Competition and Arts festival

April 2008 - I won an Honorable Mention award for the pastel "Cliffs at Grand Staircase."  I had three works (2 oils, 1 pastel) - accepted into the 2008 10th Annual MasterWorks of New Mexico show.
