2009 events

18th Annual Pastel Society of New Mexico National Exhibition

The opening reception is Friday, November 6 from 5-8pm (awards ceremony at 6:00pm) and the show will be up through November 29.  I have two works in this show.

September 21 - 25, 2008 Escalante Canyons  Art Festival  - Four days of outdoor painting in and around the Escalante Grand Staircase National Monument. in southern Utah  I won a 4th Place Award. See the  PLEIN AIR page, Recent Art News link and my New Work link.

September   2008 Rio Grande Art Association 6th Annual Encantada! Juried Oil & Acrylic Exhibition.  Sponsor Award for my oil painting "Chama River Canyon"

October 1, 2008.  UPDATE - I won a 4th Place award ($ 200 cash award) at the Escalante Canyons Plein Air Competition and Arts festival   for this 12" x 18" pastel
