The
total fee for each program is$ 1080.00. Reservations for
a place in a specific program requires a deposit of $ 250.00.
The balance of $ 830.00, plus the $ 180.00 fee for selecting
a single room is due April 15, 2001. Deposits, minus a $ 50.00
administrative fee, are refundable until April 15. Refunds after
April 15 will be made only if the program is filled and there is
a replacement on a waiting list.
Each
field program has a capacity of 45 participants, five faculty, and
one staff coordinator. About 12 local speakers and field hosts will
provide interesting insights into the areas that we visit. The fee
covers all faculty and speaker costs, administrative costs, the
production and distribution of the course reader, and production
and distribution of a comprehensive field guide. Also included are
transportation costs, entry fees, all breakfast and lunches (and
ice cream stops), and lodging based on double occupancy of rooms.
Payment
may be check or money order. To pay by credit card, provide the
card type, the full name on the card, the number, and the expiration
date in the places provided in the data sheet.

Additional
fees will be charged at time of service to participants for several
of the Thursday afternoon field options. Reservations will be called
in on the day of the lecture program.
Three-hour
horseback trail ride: $ 45.00 if under ten reservations, and
$ 40.00 if between ten and twenty.
Mountain
bikes: Full
suspension bikes, $ 25.00 for two hours and $ 40.00 for four hours.
Horse
and Wagon Hay Ride: One hour for $ 10.00 per person if there
is sufficient interest.
People
who do not sign up for these activities will have the non fee options
of hiking for three hours to viewpoints in the Springerville Volcanic
field or in walking around the divide lakes at the Sunrise Resorts
of the White Mountains. Otherwise people may select to relax at
the place of lodging or go shopping or gambling at nearby facilities
in Pinto.
