This picture was taken fall of '94 on the Racoon River Valley Bike Trail in central Iowa. We are in front of the Old Depot brew pub in Adel, our favorite place to end the bike ride. The RR trail runs a total of 34 miles, from Waukee (just west of Des Moines) to Yale. We liked to start at Adel, so we end at the brew pub. Our favorite place to stop on the trail is the shop at Linden where church ladies sell the best cookies. The monster cookies are our favorite.
