The season is once again upon us, and as the leaves turn green and Spring brings the promise of new life, so too must we welcome the promise of our kingdom’s future. Their Royal Majesties, Bela and Anna, King and Queen of the Outlands, must now see to it that they have worthy successors to carry on their great legacy.
On March 13th, the Barony of al-Barran will be hosting the Crown and the populace for Spring Crown Tournament. There will be a grand tournament to determine our Crown Price and Princess as well as a donation lunch. For those with other interests, the hall will be open during the tournament for the Kingdom Travel Fund Casino! Come play a variety of period games and help contribute to the ability of the Outlands Crown to bring the Royal presence all across their kingdom and the known world. When the casino is closed, players will be able to trade in their playing chips for a variety of prizes made by the hands of the populace.
Join us in the Barony of al-Barran as we play host to the greatness of our kingdom. Seating for feast is limited, so please arrive as early as possible to partake. Your Feast Coordinator is Lord Alistair di'Cartier. FEAST MENU
Mistresses Monika and Cailte will be coordinating a Medieval Tasting Table (more info) as a donation lunch. Come share the delights the Kingdom and Barony cooks can prepare!

Directions to Tournament Site: Take your best route to I-40 in Albuquerque. From the I-40/I-25 interchange, head east (towards the mountains) and exit on Tramway (the last exit in the city before heading into the canyon). Turn north (left) on Tramway and continue for a mile or so and take a left turn onto Lomas (there will be a traffic light there, so it will be easy to see). Take a left on Nakomis (very soon after turning onto Lomas) and the park will be immediately visible on your left. Parking will be at the curb surrounding the park.
Park address is: 13205 Fruit NE, Albuquerque, NM MAP
Directions to Feasting Hall/Casino: From I-40, follow the above directions to get to Lomas, but stay in the right-hand lane instead and go past Nakomis. Instead, take a right turn onto Chelwood (soon after passing Nakomis) go past Constitution. The feasting hall is at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church on the right hand side of the road. The address for the feasting site/casino is 1500 Chelwood Park NE, Albuquerque, NM MAP
Directions from Tournament Site to Feasting Hall/Casino: The easiest way is to take Roma directly west (away from the mountains) from the park and continue until you reach Chelwood Park (the street, not the actual park) and turn right. You will cross over Lomas and the feasting hall will be on the right after passing Constitution, as mentioned above.
