How To Register?

If you have downloaded the registration form before March 10, please download the form again and use the new form.

• Fill out the registration form (download)
• Send the filled-out registration form back as an e-mail attachment to khoj@unm.edu.
• The application will be opened from March 1 to April 15, 2010. It is first come, first served.
• The approval of your application will be sent by e-mail during the first week of May.
• You can send your questions or suggestions to khoj@unm.edu.
• If the "submit by mail" botton of the registration form does not work, please download the form again from the above link.

Chemistry Teacher Summer Workshop

Are you looking for new teaching ideas for your chemistry courses?

By attending this workshop you will gain

1. field experience for new teaching strategies
2. hands on training in handling chemicals, common laboratory equipment, laboratory safety, and waste management.
3. discussions of students' learning difficulties in chemistry and the plan to rectify these difficulties.
4. strategies to help your students adequately prepare for college chemistry courses. 

Date: June 21 to 25, 2010
Place: Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at UNM, room 274

• If you want to get college or graduate credit for this workshop, contact Dr. Ho at khoj@unm.edu.
• A $300 curriculum development fund will be available for 15 participants. Further information will be available from The UChemTeach website in April.
• Lunch will be provided during the workshop.
• Travel funds will be available for out-of-town participants. The detail information about how to apply for it will be available soon at UChemTeach.
