Requirements

The requirements, course sequencing, and comprehensive exam for the Ph.D. with an emphasis in Computational Linguistics will be explicitly designed by the Ph.D. candidate along with his/her committee of studies (see Graduate Student Manual).

Courses are selected by the candidate in consultation with the approval of the Chair of the Committee on Studies. Suitable courses in departments other than Linguistics include:
