Walk your dog
Get off the couch to change the channel on the television

Clean the house regularly
Gardening/landscape in your yard
Stationary cycle, row or move as you watch television
Switch your video games from passive to active
If you have stairs, use the restroom on the second floor
Play with your kids at the local park
Ride your bike whereever possible
Walk around the room during commercials
Walk briskly around the house to make sure the doors are locked at night
Go for a hike if the mountains are close
Do heel raises while cooking and brushing teeth
Do some vertical wall push-ups before you shower
Perform some partial squats during commercial breaks
Dance to music while you clean and while you cook
Do a few jumping jacks while waiting for dinner to cook
Take some movement breaks while reading or studying at home
Take a walk when you get up in the morning
Walk your children to school, if you can
Everyone at the dinner table helps clear and clean
Mow the lawn with a push mower
Jog with the stroller
Bring in groceries one bag at a time
Push-ups at the kitchen counter
Do leg lifts on the couch
Hopscotch in the kitchen on the tiles
