Please hand out course evaluations next week (or later this week)for 1st 8 week classes. Have the students fill one out, with you not present (if possible), and have a student in that class bring all evaluations in an envelope up to the main HESS office and give to Margie or any other assistant who is available. Course evaluations and envelopes are located on the book shelf next to the copy room in the HESS office.
Friday, MArch 14th is the last day of classes for the first 8 weeks. Spring break will be from the 17th and 21st of March. Secon 8 week classes will begin March 24.
Next week, I will have a sign up sheet to turn in grades. Monday, March 24 will be the first day to turn in grades. I will send more infomation regarding grades in the very near future.
All syllabi and block plans for 2nd 8 week classes are due by 3:00 Tuesday MArch 25th. I will need electronic copies of your syllabus.
It is EXTREMELY important that you compare your current class list with who is actually attending to avoid grading problems.
Please make sure that you are sending advanced notice via email(and cc to me) to any student who has reached the max allowable days absent. This is a vital process to ensure that students who are on the bubble are informed of their status in your class.
