King & Queen Elections

Deadline:

Application/grade release form and photograph are due to ASUNM (Student Union Building, Room 1016) by 5:00 pm on Monday, September 15th, 2006. Campaign rules and regulations and royalty schedule will be discussed at the Mandatory Meeting September 16th, at 7:00 pm in Student Union Building, Room Santa Ana A & B. Homecoming King and Queen will be elected by popular vote by the undergraduate student body at the main campus of the University of New Mexico on Wednesday, October 1st, 2003.

Qualifications:
Candidates interested in competing for the honor of Homecoming court must have the foloowing qualifications:
* A male (King) or female (Queen)
* Undergraduate Main Campus Student carrying at least six (6) credit hours
* Not on any type of University probation
* At least a 2.0 cumulative grade point average. The only exception for not having a 2.0 cumulative GPRA is if the student does not have a GPA due to newly entering the University.

Requirements:
* Submit the Homecoming Court application by 5:00 pm to ASUNM (Student Union Building, Room 1016), on Monday, September 15th, 2003.
* Submit a signed grade release form.
* Submit a 5 X 7 photo for publicity use.
* Attend a Mandatory Meeting for all candidates on Tuesday, September 16th at 7:00 pm in Student Union Building, Room Santa Ana A & B. If you can not attend, you may send a representative to take your place. Failure to attend, or to send a representative may result in disqualification.
* Must attend all events of the royalty schedule which will be distributed at the mandatory meeting.
* Must attend Fall Frenzy event on Friday September 26th on the UNM Campus and complete one other optional community service project which will be discussed at the mandatory meeting.
