Recently, Agora was awarded certification for three years by the American Association of Suicidology. Formal recognition of this achievement will be given to the center at the annual meeting of the association in Broomfield, Colorado in April 2005.
Certification signifies that an organization has been evaluated during a site survey and other procedures, and has met or exceeded specific standards in the following areas: administration, training, general service delivery, services in life-threatening crises, ethical issues, community integration, and program evaluation.
