Grammy award winner Poncho Sanchez and his Latin Jazz Band will perform in concert at The National Hispanic Cultural Center on Sunday, September 11 at 7 p.m. as part of the center's "Maravilla Caliente" celebration.
Come and dance the night away to the hot Latin rhythms of this world-renowned conguero. Concert tickets are $15 - $25.
Also catch the world premiere of "Keeper of the Flame," a documentary on Sanchez by filmmaker Aracely (Arcie) Chapa, who produced it for the University of New Mexico's Center for Regional Studies.
The documentary premieres at the National Hispanic Cultural Center 1701 4th St. NW on Sunday, September 11 at 3 p.m. Tickets to the showing are $10 and $15.
