Governor Bill Richardson Names New Student Regent

Dahlia DormanDahlia Dorman has been appointed student regent on the University of New Mexico board. Dorman earned a bachelor of arts in political science and Spanish from UNM this year and is currently pursuing a law degree at the UNM School of Law. Gov. Bill Richardson appointed her to the post Dec. 21. Upon confirmation by the state senate she will replace Rosalyn Nguyen, whose term as student regent expired at the end of the year.
