Heart-Shaped Gourmet Pizzas Benefit UNM Children’s Hospital
Continuing its tradition of giving back to local communities, Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza kicks off its annual Valentine’s fundraiser featuring its one-of-a-kind heart-shaped pizzas to benefit Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). Boston’s in Albuquerque will donate all charitable proceeds directly to UNM Children’s Hospital.
The restaurant will feature two unique giving opportunities designed to raise funds for the local hospital. Beginning Jan. 29 through Feb. 14, Boston’s will sell special paper hearts for a $1 donation. Patrons are encouraged to write Valentine’s messages on the hearts to display in the restaurant.
Leading up to Valentine’s Day, from Feb. 9-14, Boston’s also will sell its popular heart-shaped pizzas and donate $1 per pizza sold to UNM Children’s Hospital, along with the money collected from the paper heart sales. As with the entire menu, the heart-shaped pizzas are available in store, for take out, or by delivery.
Children’s Miracle Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children through fundraising for children’s hospitals across North America. Each year the 170 Children's Miracle Network hospitals provide the finest medical care, life-saving research and preventative education to help millions of kids overcome diseases and injuries of every kind.
To participate in this year’s fundraiser, local residents can visit the Albuquerque location at Interstate 25 and Jefferson, or call (505) 890-8004 to place an order or for more information.
