UNM Notes Two More Fulbrights

UNM boasts two additional faculty 2006-2007 Fulbright recipients, Michael Morris and Sally Seidel, who were not included in the original list published last month.

Morris’ cohort is composed of 36 scholars and practitioners, 12 from the U.S. and 24 from around the world. His cohort’s international context looks at immigration in Southern Spain and its impact on schools and higher education.

They will also work in small groups on research and policy papers related to “Higher Education: Access and Equity,” especially for minorities, new immigrants, women and marginalized groups.

SeidelSally Seidel, professor, Department of Physics and Astronomy, is currently lecturing and conducting research on “Teaching and Research: Mapping the Strong Potential; Teaching about the Subatomic Frontier,” at Lund University, Lund, Sweden.
