The UNM KIVA Club presents its annual Silent Art Auction on Thursday, Dec. 6, 1-9 p.m. in the Student Union Building ballroom A and Friday, Dec. 7, 1-10:30 p.m. in SUB ballroom C. The auction will benefit scholarships for Native American students pursuing teaching degrees.
“We welcome everyone to come to this event and make more scholarships possible for Native American students who want to be teachers,” said Jay Cee Beyale, KIVA Club president.
On Friday, the event also features the Native Beats Music Festival, with performances by Plateros, Cinco Indians, Amounting to Nothing, and Ishen Tree.
