UNM Hospitals to Conduct Weight Watchers Program

Beginning Jan. 28, UNM Hospitals will conduct a Weight Watchers Program. Meetings will be held every Monday beginning with weigh-in from 5 to 5:30 p.m. The class itself will follow from 5:30 to 6 p.m. in the 2ACC meeting room in the main hospital. The class is open to everyone. You don’t have to be a UNMH or UNM employee so invite your friends and family members.

The Weight Watchers program is not a diet, it teaches a healthy way of eating for the rest of your life. There are no special foods to buy. The cost of the program is $186 for 17 weeks. Included in the price is access to Weight Watchers e-tools, the internet weight-loss companion which normally costs $12.95 per month alone- included in the cost of this program. Weight Watchers eTools, the Internet weight-loss companion, customized for men and women, makes it easier to stay on track between meetings. It's available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How will eTools help you?
* Chart your personal progress with the Weight Tracker.
