Less than half of all voice mailbox users have initialized their mailbox on the new system. In order for callers to hear your personal greeting after cut over on Nov. 29, you must initialize your voice mailbox now. To initialize, dial the temporary access number 7-3500 from your desk phone and follow the prompts.
The prompts will guide you through resetting the default security code and recording your greeting and name, the process takes 2-3 minutes.
After you set up your mailbox on the new system no further action is needed. Continue to dial 7-9997 to access your messages on the current system.
The access number will remain as 7-9997 after the transition to the new system. For assistance please contact ITS CNS Customer Care at 7-1111.
