Richard Gordon, assistant professor of Lusophone and Hispanic Literatures and Cultures at The Ohio State University, offers a presentation on slavery and identity in recent Brazilian cinema. Titled, “The Case of Aleijadinho: Paixão, Glória e Suplício,” the presentation will take place Wed., Nov. 18, from 4-5 p.m. in Ortega Hall 335 – the Reading Room.
