About the Conference

Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program

As a regional and national conference, this year’s program highlights the academic and research accomplishments of undergraduate scholars and heralds the convergence of their unique and diverse intellectual perspectives across the research landscape. Reflective of Dr. Ronald E. McNair’s courage and commitment, scholars will be presenting research projects to an audience of peers, graduate students, faculty and other university leaders, contributing to the voice of knowledge and standing as pillars of inspiration.

Established during the 1999-2000 academic year, UNM’s Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program continues to link student and faculty to strengthen student research and leadership capacity essential to graduate level studies, contributing to the growing numbers of first-generation, under-represented, and low-income students entering graduate programs.
