Parallel Stucture
1). Recently I went to the doctor for my yearly physical. 2).After a complete examination, she advised three things: more exercise, less stress, and a diet that is healthier. 3). She made several suggestions to help me meet these goals, added words of encouragement, and I should see her again in a month. 4). I thought that a healthier life would be difficult after years of eathing the wrong foods, avoiding physical exercise, and a job that is extremely stressful. 5). However, I have made up my mind to eat more fruits and vegetables, to walk two miles each day, and avoiding sources of tension on the job. 6). After just a short time, I feel better, I have more energy, and I look forward to going to work.
