1). Albert Einstein was born March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. 2). Einstein finally spoke at age three. 3). Otherwise, he seemed like a normal child. 4). At age six, Albert Einstein attended his first day of school. 5). By the age of 12, he already taught himself Algebra, Geometry, and differential calculus. 6). Technically, Einstein never finished high school but applied to a Polytechnical school. 7). The director of the school gave Einstein an entrance exam. 8). Unfortunately Einstein did not pass the test. 9). In early October 1896, Einstein successfully enrolled in the "School for Specialized Teachers in the Mathematics and Science Subjects" and moved away from his family. 10). He was almost eighteen and became the youngest student to ever enter the school. 11). Einstein was a fairly good student but skipped class. 12). Einstein was not able to get a job as an assistant like the rest of his classmates. 13.) Most of his professors detested him and refused his plea for a job. 14). Einstein graduated in 1900 and spent almost a year looking for jobs and trying to get his doctorate. 15). In the end, Einstein survived his difficulties and became very successful. 16). Throughout his life, he emphasized the importance of hard work. |
