Believe It or Not: Weird and Bizarre Grammar
Who or Whom? That is the Question!
Using Who or Whom can cause confusion. Here is an easy way to determine which is correct. We use "whom" after a preposition. For example:
  • To whom it may concern
  • from whom
  • about whom
  • etc.....

  • In all other instances, use "who"
    How Bizarre!!!!
    Who, that, and Which
    When who, that, or which are used as subjects, they take on singular verbs if the word they stand for is singular. For example: John is a person who is very private.
    When who, that, or which are used as subjects, they take on plural verbs if the word they stand for is plural. For example: John is one of those people who are very private. who is very private.
