The way I look at it is I know three times more than I ever wanted to know about the hardware but only 1/2 what I should know.
While definetly a MS-Dos PC bigot, I can make a mac work to do most of the things needed and I have a functional Apple 2+ at home. If you think the 640K memory limit in dos is a pain, you should try the 64K limit the Apple 2+ has.
I am also reported to be the local expert on modems. Those marvelous toys that allow us to tie up our phone lines. Marvels when they work and a nightmare when they don't.
