Assignment 2

I created a graph showing the weather station names and annual rainfall for New Mexico.  From this figure you can see that El Vado Dam receives the least amount of annual rain and Lake Avalon Receives the highest amount of annual rain the state.

For the map I created a visual distribution of New Mexico weather stations with graduated symbols showing annual rainfall across the state.  You can see that the weather stations in central and north western New Mexico tend to receive less rainfall than the southern and eastern portion of the state.  This rain data is layered over the 1996 population data showing how rainfall and population overlap.  You can see that the wettest counties do not have high population densities.

I had trouble with the scale and realized after the fact that it was not correct.  I did not have access to the map to correct the error.
