Tajweed Halaka (Week 2) For everyone who could not make it to this weeks halaka, I am sorry to say this, but you missed out. Don't worry though, because we are still at the beginning and we are going to do it every week. To make sure we stay with it we have organized goals and deadlines. This week we need to memorize the first 12 Ayahs of Surah Ya-Seen (#36), and to help you we have encoded the recitations of seven clear sheikhs for you to listen to. The Files are MP3 so you can download them (by right clicking and pressing save target as) or just click on them to bring up Windows Media Player. The audio clips only contain the first 12 ayahs and may sound choppy due to the encoding so let us know which sheikh you like best and we can just put up the clear file for that one sheikh if everyone seems to like the same one.
