Greetings! My name is Rachel Rathanya Brown. I am the reigning 2009-2010 Miss Indian UNM. I am from Mariano Lake, New Mexico. I represent the Navajo tribe and I am Red Running into the Water Clan and born for the Salt People Clan. My maternal grandparents are the Mexican Clan and my paternal grandparents are The Deer Spring People Clan. I am currently a junior here at the University of New Mexico majoring in Psychology and minoring in my Navajo language.
