- Lack of time is the issue to blame
Contrary to what Venezuelan actress Gabriela Spanic has expressed, it's not true
her husband, actor Miguel de León, refuses to sign the divorce papers.
As everyone knows, Gabriela is living a torrid love affair with actor José
Ángel Llamas, her co-star in "La Venganza" ("The Vengeance") which is
currently airing on Telemundo. Both fell in love while taping the
melodrama in Columbia.
Miguel de León explained to the magazine, TVyMás, in Mexico the
reasons they haven't gotten a divorce yet: because Gabriela had many
committments with her telenovela; then their lawyer encountered problems with
the legal documentation; and lastly, he was signed on to do a telenovela.
Lack of time has been the obstacle.
"It's a coordination of three people. It's not
something one of us can decide to do by himself. It's not just a question
of what's convenient for the rest, it's also about what's convenient for me too.
It's an accord between three people and that's why it's been postponed.
Not because anyone has opposed it. I'm not interested in the least bit
in that relationship. It's a closed chapter in my life," emphasized
De León.
