Article: Miguel de León obtained his
Mexican citizenship
One of the actors who some time ago relocated to Mexico is Miguel de León,
who following his marriage to actress Gabriel Spanic decided, along with his
wife, to broaden their horizons in respect to their careers.
According to persistent rumors, the actor recently acquired his Mexican
citizenship.
De León has had several acting jobs in Aztec lands, one of the most
memorable being the one in the children's telenovela, "Gotita de Amor".
Everything seems to indicate that for now, the renown leading man of the
telenovela "María Celeste" has no plans of returning to his country just
like so many of his Venezuelan colleagues have decided not to. And taking
into account the critical conditions that country is going through, we
guess the likelihood [of their returning] is even less.
The truth of the matter is the actor appears to be concentrated on building a
career outside [his native Venezuela], evidently seeking to consolidate an
international spot for himself in the Mexican world of entertainment.
