Issues in design of Internet 2
It is important that the I2 design be flexible enough to accommodate both
- currently anticipated requirements as well as
- new requirements as they become known.
Fundamental to the Internet 2 infrastructure design is maintenance of a "common bearer service" for communication among network applications.
