Operational Responsibilities
Because of the end-to-end nature of I2, operation of the network will require more coordination between network operators and between network operators and end users in most parts of the Internet.
This coordination should be automated to the greatest extent possible.
The current Internet lacks the tools and protocols to manage multiple levels of service.
