I2 gigapops will not serve commercial transit networks, nor is peering allowed among such networks via the gigapop routing infrastructure.
Inter-gigapop links will ONLY carry traffic among Internet 2 sites.
A gigapop's key function is the exchange of I2 traffic with specified bandwidth and other Quality of Service attributes.
