Route Aggregation
We’ve added the ability to summarize addresses into NLSP
A summary looks like (1 byte length, 4 byte address)
Length is number of 1’s that would be in the mask if it were a mask
A router on the boundary introduces a summary
A summary can be passed from area to area
The summary includes an “area-count” to limit how far it spreads
Summaries work with filtering: “don’t advertise anything of the form 5.*. Advertise the summary 5.*”
