• Source address (SA): specifies the station that sent the frame (2 or 6 bytes, usually 6 bytes)

• Length: length of the LLC data field

• LLC data: data unit supplied by LLC, less than 1518 bytes

• Pad: octets added to ensure the frame is long enough for the proper collision detection operation (optional)

• Frame check sequence (FCS): 32-bit cyclic redundancy check (CRC); except preamble, SDF and FCS
