• It contains the following fields

  • Generic Flow Control ( GFC ).
  • Virtual Path Identifier ( VPI ).
  • Virtual Channel Identifier ( VCI ).
  • Payload type.
  • Cell loss priority ( CLP ).
  • Header error control ( HEC ).
