- One or more ethernet hubs to concentrate devices in the building located where the zone hub is located.
- Several 15 port ethernet switches to concentrate ethernets from buildings within the zone.
- A router interconnecting the FDDI network and ethernet switches.
- The routers support all requied protocols in addition to TCP/IP.
