Case Study - UNM - Upgrade Plans
To provide bandwidth scalability to both the dektop and the backbone, UNM is planning to upgrade the electronics, given that the existing infrastructure (fiber and cat - 5 wiring) can easily support that.
The long term upgrade plan is to :
- Replace shared Enet hub electronics with 10/100Mbps Enet switches, providing switched 10/100Mbps to desktops.
