DESCRIPTION:
Client reports that 3rd floor of Scholes is seeing different speeds ^ when transmitting files off their floor. Putting files onto a ^ off-floor host is much slower then getting files from an off-floor ^ host. STATUS:

DESCRIPTION:
Mimi@Anthropology cannot connect to network with any regularity. Her ^ port 11-137-1177 is in rm 246. There was also a problem #8124 that ^ was resolved last week. STATUS:
Called client on 2/20/98. Got no answer; Client doesn't have phone message service so I couldn't leave a message. Will follow up!! Scannned plate and visually inspected wiring and conections no problems found. After talking to customer and other people in area, I think the problem is just normal operation. The problems she describes are routine problems that the other people in her area are also experiencing. I suggest that she be given a refresher course on network use. CHKS1 printer seems to have a loose connection on its' either net co-axial cable on the machine. Ed taped it so it is taught and it communicates, however this does affect our X-terms in the dispatch area, cause they are all daisey chained..JAM
