DESCRIPTION:
Client reports that 3rd floor of Scholes is seeing different speeds ^ when transmitting files off their floor. Putting files onto a ^ off-floor host is much slower then getting files from an off-floor ^ host. STATUS:

DESCRIPTION:
Carl@Castetter Hall reports that the port 21-276-1295 in rm 233 is ^ not working. STATUS:
Awaiting resolution on WC access problem. JL. Scanned wires found wires 5 & 6 disconnected. Punched down the wires, scanned good. KC/DAL 4/2/98 - The lock to this wiring center was changed back in 9/97 to not accomodate master key access. Because of this the original key won't work. (I don't know who originated this request and the lock shop doesn't seem to either) I picked up the new key this morning and it does work. Getting back to client's problem - the electronics tested good however the infracstructure wiring from room 233 to room 276 to this particular faceplate didn't test out good. I'm passing this problem back to the contractor, (Kelly Cable) so this problem can be resolved. CLIFF/COMMGRP
