DESCRIPTION:
In the Biology Building #19 there seems to be network slow downs on ^ the
weekends. Greg would like to speak with someone to resolve this ^ problem.

Greg says that the last two Saturdays and Sundays between 2 and 4 pm,
packet loss on the Sevilleta link increases to 90% or so for anywhere from
1/2 to 1 hour.

Multiple PC's at VC Help Desk getting 'host not found'. CIRT HD was ^ able

Client was unable to connect via telnet to AIX ^ with AIX's IP number.

Mark from UUNet called to say that they are getting an ICMP attack ^ from
2 IP addresses here. They are seeing it come across their ^ routers. The

informed.

HD-SES. Karl is reporting network slowdowns in the Casstetter and the Bio
Annex around 1 PM daily. But it does not affect other buildings in the
subnet [168.1]. This could be related to problem 12500, or with the
problem that Cliff handled 2-3 weeks ago.
