Correct

In 95% of right handed people, the major speech areas are located on left side of the brain approximately in front of and behind the ear.  The two major speech areas are called Broca's and Wernicke's areas.  When a person has a stroke that affects one of these areas, they have a condition called aphasia.  A stroke in Broca's area largely affects the ability to produce speech while a stroke in Wernicke's area affects mainly comprehension of speech.
