The New Mexico Ice Wolves are the club hockey team at the University of New Mexico. Chartered in 1991, the Ice Wolves have a strong commitment to excellence, tradition, and the sport of hockey. Due to the temporary absence of the New Mexico Scorpions, the Ice Wolves are the only hockey ticket in town.
Off to their best start in several years, this years team looks poised to break several club records and make a serious run in the postseason. The excitement surrounding the hockey team has the local community buzzing about the club hockey team at UNM. The Ice Wolves are compromised of students at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. The Ice Wolves play their home games at either Blades Multiplex in Rio Rancho, NM or at the Outpost Ice Arena in the Northeast Heights of Albuquerque.
