Brief Self Biography - Arezou Khoshakhlagh was born in Iran, Esfahan. Spring 2004 she finished her undergraduate study in Electrical Engineering at the University of New Mexico where she currently is working toward her PhD.
Research Interests Description– In my research project I am focusing on the growth of GaSb QDs and their applications in the active region of devices like a laser structure. I also work on the testing part of the materials that I grow such as PL, AFM, XRD and SEM. My interests in nanoscience include the growth of GaSb QDs by MBE (Molecular Beam Epitaxy) and their applications in devices. Also I am interested to combine the GaSb QD studies with the InGaAs technology to try to optimize the emitted wavelengths from the grown materials.
