US Fish & Wildlife Service US Fish & Wildlife Service In 1995, OCA performed testing at a site located in the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge for the US Fish and Wildlife. The project was completed with this report: Marie E. Brown (1996): Test Excavations at LA 110967, Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge, Socorro County, New Mexico, OCA/UNM Report No.1850960 (report cover shown above) In 1985-1986, OCA performed archeological excavations of a portion of Qualacu, a Piro pueblo, near Socorro New Mexico. This project was conducted for the US Fish and Wildlife service to salvage eroding cultural resources from this ruin, which had been partially damaged during a 1950s construction of a large conveyance channel, as well as to stabilize the site. Upon the completion of the research and excavation of the eroding rooms of the pueblo, OCA published the following report: Michael P.
