Assistant Professor in Russian History

Minimum requirements include: completion of PhD in History by August 2008; ability to teach an undergraduate survey in Western Civilization and upper-division courses that include the whole range of Russian history; ability to mentor both undergraduate and graduate students at the MA and PhD levels; a research agenda with a focus on political, social, economic, or cultural History, in any time period. A sub-field in Central Asia is preferred. 

This position is probationary leading to a tenure decision.
