OLIT Colleagues

William J. Bramble, Ph.D.

Professor

Organizational Learning and Instructional Technology (OLIT) Program

My teaching concentrates on management, research, and evaluation of instructional technology and on-line learning. I also teach graduate statistics courses for the Educational Psychology program of the college. My scholarly interests are in the areas of economics of distance and online learning, distributed interactive simulation, and issues in managing and developing systems of instructional technology. An edited book on the economics of distance on online learning was published by Routlege in March 2008. I received my doctorate in Measurement, Evaluation, and Statistical Analysis in Education from the University of Chicago. I have worked at the University of Kentucky, the Alaska Department of Education, the University of Central Florida, and am now at the University of New Mexico. Along the way I have conducted research in such far flung places as rural Alaska, Australia, and Sub-Saharan Africa. I very much enjoy teaching classes and working with graduate students both in class and on scholarly research.
