Bingshan Yin was a visiting scholar in OLIT during the fall semester of 2008-2009 from Beijing Normal University (BNU) Beijing, China. He was a BNU Ph.D. candidate during his stay in New Mexico and was sponsored by the Chinese government to study at UNM. He received his bachelor and master degrees from the College of Information at BNU, and is now pursuing his Ph.D. degree at the College of Educational Technology at BNU. His focus is distance education.
From his specialized educational background, Bingshan has an array of skills in design and development of multimedia coursewares, static or dynamic websites, web-based learning systems, etc. He also holds a deep understanding about theory and research in Education.
Bingshan and his colleagues from the Research Center of Distance Education at BNU have developed an expert community for professionals engaged in distance learning in China.
