OLIT Student Portfolios & Resumes

Following are offsite links to OLIT student/graduate portfolios or other online presence. You will see that OLIT students and graduates have rich experiences in many areas of learning, design, training and technology.

Formerly, all graduating OLIT graduate students hold Master's of Arts or Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Education. However, because of the broad scope of studies in the OLIT Program, students may choose to focus upon a multitude of areas such as distance learning, instructional design, organizational learning, transformational learning, training, evaluation, e-learning, or knowledge management, to name several areas of study.

John O'Laughlin

MA, Education

Graduated: December 2008
Emphasis in Organizational Learning & Instructional Technology

Presently, I teach adults online and in classrooms where I provide real-world experience to students from my 25 years of media work for advertising agencies and television stations. The OLIT program continually engages the student in exploring one of life's greatest rewards, learning. The transfer of knowledge is not just a classroom simulation, it's a real-world application of understanding to benefit human interaction and performance. We are all on a learning journey and OLIT brings comprehension to the adventure.

Lisa Tomlin

MA, Education

Anticipated Graduation: Fall 2009

I am particularly interested in creating innovative strategies for human computer interaction, specifically visual instructional design. My research of e-learning in the Masters OLIT program, in combination with the instructional learning environment at Honeywell FM&T/NM, and the design expression of my web development business dlirium.net has given me a strong foundation in that pursuit.
