If your professor has made online materials available, you can find it for download at the ereserves.unm.edu site. You will need a password provided by your professor to access the documents.
To use the Interlibrary Loan services, you must set up an account with them. Interlibrary Loan books are available for pickup at the Zimmerman Library Circulation Desk. Be sure to bring your Lobo Card with you. Contact them at 505-277-5617.
This service is a part of Interlibrary Loan and is available to all enrolled UNM students, faculty & staff. As they put it: "No need to spend hours hunting for books and articles in our stacks and various branches – simply fill out the form and we will find it for you." Swwweeeeet!
LIBROS is an online library catalog. The "word" LIBROS means LIBRary Online System. Materials include: audio visual material (tapes, CDs, DVDs), books and ebooks (electronic books), government documents, magazines, journals and newspapers (often referred to as periodicals), maps, microfiche, microfilm, web page documents or files from LIBROS Consortium Members' library collections.
Search the Health Services Library and Informatics Center Online Catalog. There is a helpful listing for search tips using Boolean operators, wildcards and other search functions.
Find full text eJournals held by the Libraries of UNM. It is possible to search by title, ISSN, subject, DOI (Digital Object Identifier) or PubMed ID Number(government public medicine reference system).
UNM holds an extensive subscription to various research databases. Here is a list of available databases from A-Z. You can also learn about how to use this service optimally at their Electronic Resources Usage Guidelines.
LibGuides is a great resource of links that have been created by our own UNM librarians. For example there is one especially created for Education Research, by Chris Desai. There is also a LibGuide on Searching the Internet, by Mark Emmons.
