Kiyoko N. Simmons is a Program Coordinator and Student Affairs Specialist in the UNM Dean of Students Office.  In that capacity, she has been instrumental in coordinating the New Student Orientation and Family Connection Program in addition to her other duties.  She is also a member of the National Orientation Director’s Association (NDOA) where she serves as the New Mexico Coordinator and a Regional Conference Co-Host.  Her goal in participating in the Fellows program is to investigate, explore and expand her understanding and knowledge of the offices in the Student Affairs Division.  Additionally, she envisions that the program will provide her opportunities to meet other administrators and explore their perspectives and visions.
