Defining, Assessing, and Using Learning Outcomes for Your Course
This workshop is designed to support faculty who are designing and implementing outcomes-assessment plans for individual courses, with a focus on course that satisfy the UNM core curriculum. Using examples as a guide, the workshop leaders will illustrate the function and value of each step in the assessment loop - defining measureable outcomes, designing/identifying products of student learning that can assess outcomes achievement, reliable measurements, and use of the assessment data to plan improvements to courses.
Facilitators: Tom Root, University Assessment Manager and Gary Smith, Director of OSET
